It is amazing to see you how fast you have recovered, but it is no surprise because you have always been a fighter. God is looking after you and your family Sam. Erin I don't know if you remember me I was Sam's old Squad leader. Me and one of the old 1st Plt Squad Leaders have been planning on taking a trip to see Sam. We would like to know where exactly he is located so we can plan a trip up there if that is ok with you and Sams family of course. God bless you and Sam as well as both of your Families. He's back in his rehab home on iv antibiotics and has been fever free for a couple of days. Today Sam moved his left arm in a purposeful way. For a couple of weeks now we've been focusing on getting the left arm and leg moving, and we've had some good results. It's slow, but it's coming. And I applaud Bob Woodruff and his wife for their efforts to remind Americans that we can't send these young people off to war for one tour, two tours, three tours of duty, etc., and then pretend their future has nothing to do with us. They GAVE us their future, and some have been repaid with no future or a troubled one, at best. Sam, Erin, we love you. You will continue to be in my prayers.
