I havent checked the blog in awhile. Ive been very busy and stressed with life. You see here in Sacramento it seems like everyone around me is crumbling. As I mature it is easier for me to be optimistic that my family and I will pull through these economic struggles and as I return home for the 2nd time I felt like my life was worthless. I sometimes feel defeated. I have worked so hard foe so many years and feel like I have nothing to show for it. My mother keeps a picture of Sam, Erin, and me from the wedding up on a bookshelf though so when I came home and saw that picture I was reminded of the strength in my family and the strength in yours and the faith and belief that Sam always had in me. Sam was one of the few people in my life who encouraged me to be everything I was capable of being and so I am going to keep working hard at being the best Liz I can be and one day soon I will visist Sam and tell him about how happy I am with my wonderful boyfriend Eric and soon Ill get a new job and Ill be able to share that all with him. So I just wanted to say thank u to Kelley and Eric for all the times they let me into their home and showered me with love and kindness. And thank you to Erin for being a great friend and a great role model and being so strong for our Sam. We all thank you Erin for helping Sam recover. God bless you all.

Just a note t let you know that we have not forgotten to pray for Sam and Erin…ALL of you; I just took over as the Georgia State Director of Bugles Across America, and Susan is one of our Asst Directors; we have rerally been busy trying to coordinate our volunteers, but Sam is continually in our prayers, and we cannot forget that Faith is truly the evidence of things unseen; and that Sam’s healing is the substance of those things hoped for. I am praying for more patience and grace. God Bless

Every time I read this blog it fills my heart with all the love that we share for Sam and Erin, and I know how good it feels for us all to see Sam’s Alive Day.

I wish them a very happy anniversary, their love is a true example.
5 years, its awesome.
It seems like only yesterday I was dancing at your wedding.
